The one year anniversary of Katrina is here, and the recovery process in and around the Louisiana Gulf region is slowly progressing. As a boost to families still in need of affordable hurricane wind and flood resistant housing that meets state, local and FEMA flood plain, and building code requirements, the JBM Construction Development Corporation of Washington, and its non-profit case management joint venture partners, are planning the construction of housing subdivisions consisting of 5000 ‘Aerodwell’ modular homes, throughout the Gulf Region within the next five years.
OBJECTIVE: To raise funds through I) private/ individual donations and II) corporate sponsored III) fundraiser events, to assist moderate and low-income Katrina home buyers offset costs for the purchase of category 4 hurricane resistant modular homes proposed for construction in housing subdivisions throughout Louisiana and the gulf region.
Our professional special event planner/fundraising consultant to JBM Construction Development, will promote fundraising events and campaign for donations from individuals and corporate entities associated with the following industries:
- Entertainment, music, artists, sports
- Major Food, Drug , Restaurant Franchises
- Building Material Suppliers and Manufacturers, Building industry related products and services.
- Lending Institutions, Brokerage Houses, credit card companies.
- Hotel/Motel Resort/ Vacation Cruise Lines
- Personal and Beauty aid Producers.
- Telecommunication companies, long distance phone services, cellular phone service providers
A percentage of campaign proceeds will be used as compensation for professional services rendered by the aforementioned Public Relations and Event Planning consultants. We enlisted the pro-bono services of a major accounting firm to manage campaign proceeds in exchange for free advertisement at fund raising events.
